FAQs

I’ve already had surgery and recovered, would I benefit from using RADIAN?

The Radian platform is designed to help you recover. Whether that recovery is from a surgery or everyday activity, it’s there to help you track and understand your joints, pain, and progress better. If you’re having pain or even if you just want to know your body better, the RADIAN sleeve can help you.

Can this data go to my physician?

Yes. The Radian Dashboard can be shared with your care provider if you elect to share it. Your doctor can then review the data at their discretion.

Does Radian replace my physical therapist?

No. The Radian system is meant to augment your care. While our goal is to help you recover better, faster, there are specific benefits from working with a licensed physical therapist.

What it I have two surgeries; can I use one Radian Sleeve for both?

Yes. The Radian sleeve can be used for both recoveries. Simply contact our team to let us know you’ve begun another recovery.

Do I have to pay for the Counselors?

No. The Radian Counselors will monitor your progress and track you as long as you’re performing exercises and following the recommended regimen. If you stop using the Sleeve, they’ll assume you’re finished using the system and stop looking at your data. If you come back and start exercising, they’ll look at your data again.

Is RADIAN washable?

Yes.

  1. Remove the sensors

  2. Wash with delicates and like colors in COLD water.

  3. Hang to dry.

DO NOT: tumble dry, bleach, iron, or dry clean.

Do I wear it all of the time?

The Radian Sleeve is a compression sleeve that can be worn as much as you feel comfortable wearing it; however, the sensors have a limited battery life, and we encourage users to only use the sensors when performing their recovery exercises.

How are the sensors removed?

You can remove the sensors by twisting them to the left and pulling them out. You remove them to charge them, so we’ve made it simple to remove them and put them back properly.

Can I keep using the Sleeve even after I’m recovered?

Absolutely. We recommend using it as long as you need it.

What is the lifespan of the Sleeve?

The Sleeve will likely last you 1-2 years before it may need a replacement.

What materials are used in the Sleeve

Materials are nylon and cotton blend with spandex and a copper weave as an antimicrobial and silicon beads to prevent the sleeve from slipping down the leg.
